Boat Parade

The theme for 2022 is “Favorite Children’s Movie”!

The 2022 parade is held on Sunday July 3th, 2022, at 1:00 PM.  Please meet at the southwest corner of the lake by 12:45 to stage and get in numerical order.

Please register ahead of time with Erin, 9586 Silverside.  Registration is free, we just need to assign numbers to help with judging and plan prizes.

While you are free to decorate your boat in any way you please, the official theme that boats are judged by is listed above.  However, please make sure the number that Erin sends you is CLEARLY displayed on the side of your boat so that judges can identify your boat.

The parade will travel around the lake twice, leaving the SW corner at 1:00.  The first lap will be in numerical order so that judges around the lake can see and vote.  Boats will gather in the SW corner after the first lap for first, second, and third place winners to be announced.  A second parade lap will have the winners in front.  Participants, please try to keep pace with the boats in front of you.
